The Currency Converter shows one amount in many currencies at the same time. Pick the currency you are converting from, add up to 20 currencies to your list, and every row updates as you type. Any row can become the new source with one click, so comparing prices across countries stays quick.
Rates are daily mid-market reference rates for more than 150 currencies from the free fawazahmed0 currency API. Your amount is calculated in your browser and never sent anywhere; your currency list and the latest rates are saved in this browser, so the last rates still work offline.
Where do the exchange rates come from?
From the free, open fawazahmed0 currency API, loaded from the jsDelivr CDN with a Cloudflare Pages copy as a fallback. Rates are updated about once a day and the page shows their date.
Is my amount sent to a server?
No. The page only downloads the public rate file. Conversions are calculated in your browser, and your currency list and the downloaded rates are saved only in this browser.
Why is my bank's rate different?
These are mid-market reference rates. Banks, card issuers, and money changers add their own margins and fees, so use the results as an estimate, not a quote.
Which currencies are supported, and how many can I compare?
More than 150 official currencies with ISO 4217 codes. Cryptocurrencies are not included. You can compare up to 20 currencies against one source currency.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once rates have been loaded. The latest rates are saved in this browser and used when new ones cannot be fetched, with a notice showing their date.
