Watermark Image & PDF

About Watermark Image & PDF

Watermark Image & PDF marks a copy of a personal document with who it is for before you send it, such as “For account opening at Bank X only” across a photo of your ID card (KTP), tax card, family card, or bank statement. If the copy leaks, the mark shows it was given for one purpose and makes it harder to reuse elsewhere.

Repeat the text diagonally across the whole page or place it once at one of nine positions, add today’s date as a second line, or use your own logo. Size, spacing, angle, opacity, and color update in the preview. Images are redrawn with the watermark in their pixels. PDFs are either flattened, so the watermark becomes part of each page image, or kept with their text and given a separate watermark layer. Everything runs in your browser.

Features

  • Text watermark repeated across the page or placed once at one of nine positions
  • Optional second line with today’s date
  • Logo watermark from a PNG, JPEG, or WebP, with transparency kept
  • Adjustable size, spacing, angle, opacity, and text color with a live preview
  • Flatten PDF pages so the watermark is hard to remove, or keep selectable text
  • Save images as PNG, JPEG, WebP, or a one-page PDF without EXIF or GPS metadata
  • No upload: files never leave your device

How to use

  1. Choose or drop a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, or a PDF.
  2. Type who the copy is for, or choose a logo, and adjust the layout and style in the preview.
  3. Pick the output settings and download the watermarked file.

Frequently asked questions

Is my ID card or document uploaded to a server?

No. The image or PDF is opened, watermarked, and saved in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere. Closing the page discards it.

What should I write on an ID card copy?

Name the recipient and the purpose, for example “For job application at Company X only”, and add the date. A specific mark is more useful than a generic “Copy”, because it shows where a leaked copy came from. Place it over the photo and details without making them unreadable for the recipient.

Can someone remove the watermark?

From images and flattened PDF pages, the watermark cannot be removed as a layer because it is drawn into the pixels, though no visible watermark is impossible to retouch. With Keep text, the PDF keeps its original pages and the watermark is a separate image on top, which a PDF editor can delete. Use Flatten pages for ID cards and other sensitive documents.

Why can't I select text in the watermarked PDF?

Flatten pages turns every page into an image, so its text is no longer selectable or searchable. Choose Keep text to keep the text, links, and forms, or 300 DPI for sharper flattened pages and 150 DPI for a smaller file.

What are the limits and formats?

One file at a time: a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image up to 50 MB and 50 megapixels, or a PDF up to 100 MB and 500 pages. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. Logos can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 10 MB. Images download as PNG, JPEG, WebP, or a one-page PDF; PDFs download as PDF. A flattened PDF does not keep the original’s bookmarks, links, forms, or document details.

Mark a copy of your ID card, tax card, or statement with who it is for, such as “For account opening at Bank X only”, so a leaked copy is hard to reuse. Add repeated or single text, today’s date, or a logo. Nothing is uploaded.
